I first photographed Louesa and Kevin back in late 2020 for their maternity session, then again in early 2021 when sweet Marlowe arrived. We hadn’t seen each other since — until now, with baby number two on the way and a toddler who’s clearly grown into her own personality.

They’re expecting a baby boy this August, so we met up at Winn Park to capture the last few moments as a family of three. Marlowe, now in nature school, was totally absorbed in her surroundings — stopping here and there to check out different flowers, plants, and whatever else caught her attention.

Like a lot of littles, she wasn’t exactly thrilled about being tossed in the air — but toward the end of the shoot, she gave a gentler version a try. The slow-motion up-and-downs got some smiles without pushing her too far.

It’s always fun to reconnect after a few years and see how much things have changed — and how much stays the same. Just a quiet morning with a growing family, capturing a bit of that in-between season before the next chapter kicks off.
