This was my second year photographing the Rhodes family, and it’s wild how much changes in just one year. The first time we met, Ben was pretty skeptical of me. It took a while before he let his guard down and gave me anything close to a smile.

This time? Total 180. He was instantly my best bud and made the perfect subject from the start. We spent most of the session playing, laughing, and getting in some solid snuggle time with Mom and Dad.

Always fun to photograph families as they grow and get more comfortable — especially when the kid who used to side-eye me is now sprinting toward the camera.
